1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

JUKTISI participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a distributed digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to support the long-term preservation of scholarly journals published using Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Through this preservation framework, participating libraries create and maintain secure archival copies of journal content, helping ensure that published articles remain accessible and recoverable in the event of technical failure, platform migration, or data loss.

Archived content is preserved with appropriate publisher authorization and managed through preservation mechanisms designed to support the legal, technical, and governance requirements of sustainable scholarly communication.

All published content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

JUKTISI permits authors to self-archive their work without an embargo period. Authors may preserve and disseminate different versions of their manuscript in appropriate scholarly repositories and academic platforms, subject to applicable copyright, licensing, and third-party rights.

Submitted Version

Authors may archive the manuscript version originally submitted to JUKTISI in an appropriate open-access or institutional repository.

Accepted Version

Authors may archive the accepted manuscript following completion of the peer-review process.

Published Version

Authors may immediately archive and distribute the final published version of record without embargo.

Final Published Version

When depositing the final published version, authors should acknowledge JUKTISI as the original place of publication and provide the article DOI and a link to the official journal version whenever available.

Authors may deposit their work in appropriate scholarly locations, including:

6. Preservation Commitment

JUKTISI remains committed to preserving the scholarly record through trusted digital preservation systems and responsible self-archiving practices, helping ensure that published content remains accessible to researchers, institutions, libraries, and the broader scientific community worldwide.

7. Author Archiving Responsibility

Authors who self-archive JUKTISI publications are encouraged to maintain accurate bibliographic information and ensure that the archived material remains correctly connected to the official journal publication.

Authors should, whenever applicable:
  • Identify JUKTISI as the original place of publication.
  • Include the article title and author information.
  • Provide the publication year, volume, issue, and page information when available.
  • Include the article DOI.
  • Provide a link to the official JUKTISI article page.
  • Preserve the integrity of the published version and its bibliographic information.

Through digital preservation, the PKP Preservation Network, open-access licensing, and author self-archiving, JUKTISI supports the continued accessibility, discoverability, and sustainability of its scholarly content.
