Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics
JUKTISI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. All parties involved in publication, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are expected to adhere to ethical principles and professional integrity throughout the publication process.
Ethical Principles
Publication ethics provide an essential framework to ensure quality, credibility, transparency, and academic integrity in scholarly publishing. These principles establish ethical standards for all participants involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must present accurate and objective research findings. Manuscripts should contain sufficient detail and references to enable replication and verification of the reported work.
Authors must ensure that submitted work is original. Proper citation and acknowledgment must be provided when using the ideas, data, or words of others.
Appropriate recognition of previous works must always be given. Relevant publications that influenced the reported research should be properly cited.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the interpretation of the manuscript.
If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors must promptly notify the editor and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published based on academic merit, originality, and relevance.
Manuscripts must be evaluated solely on intellectual content without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or political beliefs.
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to unauthorized parties.
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the author's explicit written consent.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
| Editorial Contribution | Assist editors in editorial decisions and provide constructive feedback to improve manuscripts. |
| Promptness | Reviewers should respond promptly and decline review invitations when unable to provide a timely evaluation. |
| Confidentiality | Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. |
| Objectivity | Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by clear arguments and evidence. |
| Acknowledgement of Sources | Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. |
| Conflict of Interest | Reviewers must not review manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist. |
