Pendampingan Psikososial Melalui Trauma Healing untuk Pemulihan Mental Anak Pasca Bencana Banjir dan Tanah Longsor di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan Tahun 2025

Bencana banjir dan tanah longsor yang terjadi di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan pada tahun 2025 memberikan dampak psikologis terhadap anak-anak, seperti kecemasan, ketakutan, kesedihan, dan penurunan interaksi sosial. Salah satu wilayah terdampak adalah Desa Simatohir yang dijadikan sebagai lokasi posko pengungsian. Di posko pengungsian Desa Simatohir terdapat sekitar 200 kepala keluarga dengan lebih dari 500 jiwa pengungsi yang sebagian besar kehilangan tempat tinggal akibat tanah longsor. Dari jumlah tersebut, terdapat sekitar 120 anak terdampak bencana yang memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam aspek psikososial. Kondisi ini membutuhkan intervensi psikososial untuk membantu proses pemulihan mental anak pascabencana. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan psikososial melalui trauma healing guna membantu pemulihan kondisi emosional anak-anak terdampak bencana. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif berupa permainan edukatif, storytelling, menggambar dan mewarnai, ice breaking, relaksasi sederhana, serta permainan kelompok yang melibatkan sekitar 50 anak sebagai peserta kegiatan di posko pengungsian Desa Simatohir. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan observasi perilaku dan angket sederhana mengenai kondisi emosional anak sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keberanian anak untuk berinteraksi sosial sebesar 76%, peningkatan partisipasi aktif sebesar 82%, serta penurunan tanda kecemasan dan ketakutan pada sebagian besar peserta. Program trauma healing terbukti membantu menciptakan suasana psikologis yang lebih positif pada anak pascabencana serta meningkatkan semangat dan rasa aman anak selama berada di pengungsian.
