Review Workflow
Manuscript Preparation
Authors must prepare manuscripts according to the journal’s submission guidelines and formatting requirements before submission.
Reference Management
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley to ensure citation consistency and accuracy.
Initial Editorial Screening
Before entering the review stage, all manuscripts undergo an editorial assessment and plagiarism screening using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% may be returned to the authors for revision before proceeding further.
Online Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online journal system. Authors are required to register as an Author and upload manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) with a maximum file size of 2 MB.
Peer Review and Editorial Decision
Manuscripts are reviewed by qualified peer reviewers selected according to their expertise. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor will determine one of the following decisions:
- Accepted
- Minor/Major Revision Required
- Rejected
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to submit the revised manuscript within two weeks. The entire review process generally requires approximately 1–2 months depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
JURIBMAS is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly quality through a rigorous and fair peer-review process.
